The Stewartstown Food Pantry

a ministry of Stewartstown United Methodist Church

The mission of The Stewartstown Food Pantry is to love our neighbors by providing access to nutritious food to anyone experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship. Our intent is to treat each person with respect, dignity, and grace; provide opportunity to increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope. Our goal is for the pantry to have a  meaningful, enduring impact.

How We Serve:

Food distributions are held twice a month at the SUMC overflow parking lot, located next to 10 Church St.
May 21st is the next distribution
Anyone desiring assistance can receive food.

How to Help - Food Donations

An easy way to help is to give unexpired, non-perishable food directly to the Pantry.  See our “Wish List” below for staples that we provide or items that we can use.

How to Help - Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to collect, sort, pack, and distribute food, as well as keep our facility clean.   As our pantry evolves, our volunteer needs are changing.   For more information on how to volunteer email Sandy@StewartstownUMC.org or Sign Up Here.
