Welcome
Welcome to Stewartstown United Methodist Church! We are located in a small rural community of roughly 2,000 people in south central Pennsylvania, four miles east of I-83, halfway between Harrisburg and Baltimore. The SUMC has as many people "new" to the area as those who grew up in Stewartstown. People also come from many surrounding communities to participate in the church's life and ministry. We are home to SEYCo pre-school, Stewartstown Senior Center, Stewartstown Summer Theatre, and Company of Praise Youth Choir.

In a world desperate for meaningful relationships and struggling to connect, SUMC has become a place that embraces everyone and seeks Christ's loving community. We don't always agree but we always seek to disagree in love and to keep our eyes on what is important in love and service.

We are a connectional church and share vision and ministry with The United Methodist Church. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our vision is of a Christian community whose members are disciples of Christ demonstrating their knowledge and love of God by showing God's unconditional love to all the world and being God's hands in servanthood through missional living, spreading God's good news, and pursuing justice.
